Alexza and Josh married in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma, CA at The Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa. They wanted a destination wedding that would capture the love they hold for each other. This was the first time I had met Alexza and Josh since Alexza is from the LA area and Josh is from Utah. As soon as I walked into her suite we felt like we had known each other for years already. She looked absolutely stunning. Alexza and Josh dated for 6 years! They went through many religious obstacles and they honestly thought they would never be able to marry each other. There parents were full of joy watching their kids finally married. I caught them knuckle shaking during the ceremony :) so classic. They were united with Alexza's parents wedding Lazo. Alexza's mom hand embroider her veil along with the chiavari chair covers and all the details for the reception. OMG hands down one of my favorite weddings of all time. Very intimate but special in every way. They only had 30 guests and they gave plenty of shooting time including a first look. What more can I ask for? The moment I arrived to this little gem of a place I fell in love with all it's surroundings. Columbia State Park is one of the last places in California where you can actually pan for gold. It is such an interesting and historical place. From the old western downtown to the gold mines to the panning of gold it takes you to a different world that is lost in time. Rebecca and Jason have a love for the outdoors and the mountains. Jason knows everything there is to know about surviving in the woods, lucky Rebecca huh!? If I get lost in the woods I want to be with these guys :)

LAS VEGAS BABY!! Darrin proposed in the romantic city of Paris, France. So we were brainstorming of ideas and ways to incorporate Paris and Europe into their session and what better than the beautiful backdrops of Las Vegas. It was a true blast hanging out with them and shooting in such a cool city. It was very hot and humid though. It literally never went down from the 100's and at one point Robert and I glanced at the temperature and it said 117!! AYE YA YAI! But they were total troopers. We started the morning at 7:00 a.m. at the famous Las Vegas Sign and then drove out to Red Rock for some cool desert shots. The day ended with some night shots throughout the strip. The pictures are beyond beautiful. You are a genuine artists. We could not have asked for more in a photographer- you were professional, on time, artistic, bubbly, patient, thorough, personal and accommodating.
We have sent the pictures to several of our friends and family and many of them were driven to tears as they watched the slide show you put together. The song you picked is SO accurate in describing our relationship. Others have said that our pictures look like they are straight out of a magazine.
Seriously, thank you is just not enough to show our gratitude.
